Should the United States Mine Thacker Pass, Nevada?

Thacker Pass, Nevada is the second largest lithium resource in the world and the largest in the United States. After approval from the Bureau of Land Management in January, 2021, there is now a land defense organized by people there to protect the land.

MINE THACKER PASS - The Pros

Mining Thacker Pass will provide the United States with the largest domestic lithium supply in the world. Having the supply chain locally would help establish the United States as global players in the EV and Energy race while allowing us to proceed with our agenda.

Thacker Pass will supply 25% of the world's lithium supply.

The Demand for Electric Vehicles is global. Where is the supply going to come from? Mine Thacker Pass.

PROTECT THACKER PASS - The Cons

The Land Defense at Thacker Pass has undoubtedly grown since a month ago. Mining would cause environmental impacts to the Golden Eagles, Coyotes, Bighorn Sheep, and JackRabbits. The mine, which will be an open pit mine, will be 5,000 acres.
